Privacy Policy

Wekatz is a field-service operations platform used by service businesses and their staff. This policy explains what the Wekatz web app and the Wekatz mobile apps for iOS and Android process, why, and who it is shared with.

Last updated: August 14, 2026

The short version

  • Wekatz is a tool your employer gives you to do your job. Accounts are created by your organisation's administrator, not by signing up.
  • We do not track your location. Neither mobile app asks for a location permission.
  • There is no advertising and no ad tracking, and no third-party analytics or attribution SDK in the mobile apps.
  • We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • Data you enter belongs to the business that operates the account.

Who is responsible for your data

Wekatz is operated by Air Green Solution LLC ("Wekatz", "we", "us").

When a service business uses Wekatz, that business decides what customer and job records are entered and how long they are kept. In data-protection terms the business is the controller of those records and Wekatz acts as its processor. For the account details of the business's own staff, and for operating the platform itself, Wekatz is the controller. If you are an employee using Wekatz at work and you want a record changed or removed, start with your employer's administrator.

What we process

Account and profile

Your name, email address, phone number, assigned role, and an optional profile photo. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is stored only as a salted hash — we never see it.

Business records entered by your organisation

Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses and service addresses; jobs, schedules and assignments; estimates, invoices, payments and expenses; leads and enquiries. This is your employer's business data. It is entered by staff, not collected from your device.

Work content you create

Photos and videos of work sites, expense receipts, invoice scans, checklist updates, job notes, and messages exchanged with colleagues about a job.

Technical data

A session token, stored on your device in the platform keystore (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore) so you stay signed in. Ordinary server logs recorded when the app talks to our API. When the mobile app checks for an over-the-air update it sends its app version and platform to our update service.

What we deliberately do not collect

  • Location. Neither mobile app requests a location permission, and neither reads your device's position. The dispatch map plots job and lead addresses that staff entered — it does not plot you.
  • Advertising identifiers. The apps contain no advertising SDK and do not read the iOS IDFA or the Android Advertising ID.
  • Third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. The mobile apps ship none.
  • Contacts, microphone, calendar or health data. Not requested and not accessed. The photo picker's microphone permission is explicitly disabled.

Device permissions and why

Camera — so you can photograph work and receipts and attach them to a job. Asked for only when you tap to take a photo.

Photo library — so you can attach an existing photo to a job update or an expense. Asked for only when you choose to pick a photo.

Biometrics — on Android, so the operating system can protect the stored session token. Your fingerprint or face data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.

You can refuse or later revoke any of these in your device settings. The rest of the app keeps working; only the feature that needs the permission stops.

Why we process it

To provide the service: authenticating you, showing you the jobs you are assigned, storing the work you record, producing estimates and invoices, and sending documents your organisation asks us to send to its customers. To keep the platform secure and to investigate abuse. To meet legal and tax obligations where they apply to us. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, each processing data only to run part of Wekatz on our instructions:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Expo — mobile app builds and over-the-air updates.
  • Google Maps SDK for Android — draws the map on Android. Address lookup and route calculation happen on our servers, not on your device.
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — notifications in the web app.
  • Resend — sends estimates, invoices and account emails.
  • Twilio — powers the optional phone module for organisations that enable it.
  • Stripe — processes card payments where an organisation has enabled online payment. Card details go to Stripe directly; we do not store full card numbers.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How it is protected

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to records is enforced in the database itself with row-level security, so what you can read is decided by the server on every request rather than by the app on your screen. Job photos, receipts, invoice scans and profile photos are stored in private buckets and served only after your permissions are re-checked for that specific file. Session tokens are held in the device keystore. When an account is disabled its access stops on the next request.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

How long it is kept

Business records — jobs, estimates, invoices, payments — are kept for as long as the operating business needs them and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Staff account records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Deleted items are held in a recoverable state before they are permanently removed, so an accidental deletion can be undone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your data protection regulator. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to delete; because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Because your employer controls its own business records, the quickest route is usually your administrator. You can also contact us directly at airgreensolution1@gmail.com, and we will pass on or action the request as appropriate. See Support for how to request account and data deletion.

Children

Wekatz is a workplace tool for adults. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Where data is processed

Wekatz is operated from the United States and our providers process data there. If you use Wekatz from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data we will update this page and move the "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators.
